According to the understanding of the China Epoxy Resin Industry Association (www.epoxy-e.cn), its research results are directly applied to the main insulation mica tape adhesive and overall coating of 300MW and 600MW large generators in the form of composite resin formula, curing process parameters, system determination and structural auxiliary layer sequence, etc., the glass fiber reinforced plastic extruded core rod for 110-500kV organic composite insulators, and the reinforced core of aramid fiber composite optical cables, In the national scientific and technological research, major technical equipment, military supporting projects and products, such as the aramid composite radar antenna extension mechanism components and the carbon fiber composite solid rocket motor shell for the Zhongxing 22 communication satellite, a series of technical problems have been solved, such as the short storage life of resin, the low interface bonding strength, the poor dynamic fatigue performance of high and low temperature and large temperature difference, and the curing thermal stress cracking, so that these projects and products fill the domestic gap.

It is reported that this research has carried out systematic theoretical research on the curing reaction mechanism of a series of latent epoxy resin systems, curing reaction kinetics, the relationship between the structure and performance of the cured products, the formulation of latent epoxy resin matrix and the optimization design of the dielectric properties of the composite materials, and has published more than 50 related papers (22 of which were included by SCI and EI), and has written an influential academic monograph, Epoxy Resin. Experts and scholars in the same industry at home and abroad spoke highly of this research and believed that the research has achieved relatively comprehensive and systematic results of "domestic epoxy resin and its composite material theory and practice", which has important guiding significance for enriching and developing China's epoxy resin curing reaction and composite dielectric theory and application, and its creative achievements have reached the international advanced level.
